WHEATFIELD

This is Pat's picture of the wind - observe the clear patterns made by the wind currents on the swirling sheafs. The image is one of a series of superb medium-format landscapes, most of which were taken in the Boyne Valley area of Co Meath. This particular one was taken in neighbouring Co Louth, near Louth village. Pat is also an extremely subtle and perceptive observer of people and has an extensive portfolio of excellent black and white environmental portraiture to prove it. Most of this work comes from his immediate neighbourhood in Laytown, Co Meath, where he lives. He is currently working on a new landscape series. There is a connection to his website on my links page.
