NAIARA
Naiara is from Spain, but I photograhed her in Dublin where she lived for a
time. This and other images were made in a small room illuminated by sunlight
coming through two large windows. No flash or other artificial lighting was
necessary. The only technical trickery involved sticking a small black cloth to
the wallpaper in a pitiful attempt to mimick a professional-standard backdrop.
Not long after this shot was taken, the inevitable happened; the backdrop fell
down. A brief inspection immediately suggested Blu Tack fatigue. This was
actually one of the first shots we did, and it turned out to be one of the most
successful. I am very pleased with it. The pose is Naiara's.
